Juicy Honey Truffle Chicken Recipe from Crafted Kosher

This recipe produces an incredibly moist chicken with subtle truffle flavor. Perfect when entertaining guests for your holiday or Shabbos meal.

Ingredients:

1 whole chicken
salt for sprinkling
2 tsp truffle pate divided
1/4 cup Savannah Bee Artisanal honey
pepper for sprinkling

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Salt chicken liberally
  3. Spread a teaspoon of the truffle pate under the skin of the chicken
  4. Combine I teaspoon truffle patehoney
  5. Shmear the outside of the chicken with the truffle/honey combo 
  6. Sprinkle with pepper
  7. Roast chicken in a roasting pan breast side down 425 degrees for 45 minutes
  8. Flip chicken roast for another 25 minutes
  9. Take chicken out of oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing
