Pulled Beef Sammies with Spicy Slawsa

Pulled Beef Sammies on Pretzel Buns with Spicy Slawsa
by Chanie of Busy in Brooklyn

With the holiday of Sukkot coming up, we're all busy menu planning for the holiday itself, which is no small feat. But then comes the intermediate days, Chol Homoed, when many like to go on outings with family and friends, and guess what? Everyone still wants to eat at the end of the day! And everyone usually comes home famished and wants dinner, like, right now. Crock pots are a great solution. You put all the ingredients in the crock pot in the morning and come home, not only to a heavenly aroma, but dinner ready to go as soon as you walk in the door hours later.

This pulled beef recipe is the perfect go-to for all those times you want easy prep in the morning and a satisfying meal dinnertime. The Slawsa from Crafted Kosher is the perfect accompaniment to any bbq, dinner or sandwich to add some big flavor.

Easiest slow-cooker pulled beef:

1 2-3 lb. roast (almost any fatty cut will work but 2nd cut brisket is best)
1 jar of BBQ sauce - Curley's, Rufus Teague, Kozlowski's Farm Savory BBQ Sauces
1 onion, sliced into half rings

Place sliced onions on the bottom of a crockpot. Top with roast and pour sauce over it. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Using 2 forks, pull the meat apart into shreds and mix into the sauce. (If you have a hard time pulling the meat, let it cook for longer). Serve in a bun with plenty of Slawsa!
