Tomato Basil Grilled Chicken and Sausage Kabobs are an incredibly flavorful meal to make on your grill this summer – or all year long!

I’ve heard about Char Crust a number of times in the past, but hadn’t tried it yet until I got some from Crafted Kosher. I was instantly hooked (I think it’ll be my new go-to way of seasoning grilled chicken!). The Char Crust creates a crust around the chicken (and sausage) which seals in the juices and keeps the chicken moist. And the flavor? Incredible. So tasty, so vibrant! Add in some lightly seasoned veggies, throw it on the grill, and you’re all set!

Crafted Kosher Products used:

Grilling sausages: Crafted Kosher has an excellent selection of Sausages to choose from. Pick your favorites from these Joburg sausages or these Holy Cow (get it? Haha!) Sausages

Char Crust: In this recipe, I used the Sundried Tomato and Garlic flavor, but I fully intend to buy a bunch more flavors to play around with, because I LOVED the way it coated the chicken and kept it moist inside. Can’t wait to try it on a steak next time! Crafted Kosher has got a ton of flavors of choose from, for anything you’re cooking!

Simply Beyond Spray-On Herbs: I love how effortless it is to add a pop of herb flavoring to your dish – like spraying some basil on the fully assembled skewers. I can’t wait to try some of the other flavors!

Cowboy Caviar:
I served my kabobs with this spread and ohmygosh. I.Am.Hooked. It’s delicious, low in calories, and just bursting with flavor. I fully intended to save most of the jar for shabbos (hello insanely delicious dip!) but I have to confess. I finished it the next morning for breakfast. On crackers. And I don’t even feel bad. It’s too good to share! Crafted Kosher sells a number of flavors, but the Red Bell Pepper Tuscan Spread is the one I tried – I look forward to trying the others as well!

Torino Bruschetta: You know how I just mentioned I ate the spread with crackers? Well these are the ones. They’re kinda like mini garlic toasts, all packaged and ready for you whenever you want them. Plus they’re bite sized, which makes them cute. And practically calorie free, right?
